Mark Kassinos

Director | Filmmaker

Born in Larnaca, Cyprus, Mark has been drawn to storytelling for as long as he can remember—long before graduating from Canterbury Christ Church University, UK, with a BA (First) in Film and Digital Arts & Media in 2008.

His work spans brand content, documentaries, short films, and music videos—combining a strong cinematic aesthetic with emotion-driven storytelling and a human-centric approach. In 2016, he founded Thelum, and later JUNO12—a production studio built around the belief that content should feel real, bold, and grounded in something meaningful.

As a filmmaker and a creative who’s experienced the tension between creative vision and the demands of running a business, Mark understands the challenges many creatives face today. In a world flooded with content, distraction, and pressure to always perform, it's easy to lose focus, confidence, or a sense of direction.

Alongside his filmmaking, Mark now offers creative consultation for individuals navigating similar struggles. His sessions are quiet spaces to reflect, recalibrate, and move forward—with clarity, intention, and meaning.

NEWS

Mark Kassinos’ latest short film ‘ACCEPTANCE’ has won the Second Prize for Best Cypriot Short at the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus.

This film presents a local and specific theme that resonates on a global scale thanks to its very thoughtful take on the subject of displacement. Being very sensitive to its subjects, human and animal alike, it shows how society doesn't make space for people trying to live a different kind of life. For being a beautiful testament to resilience we award the 2nd prize for Best Cypriot Short..”
